Who am I? Good question! I wonder that myself sometimes…Most of the time I feel pretty content with the person I am, but every once in a while I get the impression that I’m still just half-baked. Hopefully that means there’s a delicious, gooey, chocolate chip cookie in my future…or something like that. Or maybe I just want a cookie…
On a slightly less philosophical level, I recently graduated with a masters degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. Right now, I am an unemployed solo traveler living out of a backpack and exploring the land down under. While this blog will mainly be about some of the chaos that ensues when you step out your front door (didn’t Bilbo warn me?!), I am also extremely interested in birds, sustainable living, and other hippie dippie topics. I have a great many hobbies including teaching myself the ukulele, restarting crochet projects three times before actually completing them, and constantly thinking about what my next meal is going to be. I take great pleasure from anything related to Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and Lord of the Rings and when I am not quoting a movie, I am usually trying to make my life into a musical.
Since I enjoy writing, photography, and other random hobbies, a blog seemed like the perfect outlet for some of my creativity. I hope to make this a positive space that brings some humor and insight into the solo travel world, so put up your feet and read a while! Thanks for joining me on this journey!
